[Also in Division G5] A pick-up unit 24 is connected by electrical plug and socket connections 22, 25 to the end of the neck 14 of a guitar or other stringed instrument. The pick-up which is electromagnetic may be removed when not in use or may be replaced by another pick-up with different characteristics.
