375,076. Safety razors. DE HAVEN RAZOR CORPORATION, 405, Lexington Avenue, New York, U.S.A. June 22, 1931, No. 18002. Convention date, June 20, 1930. [Class 30.] A safety razor comprises a head having a base with guard teeth 6, the blade 4 being carried by a cap 3 and clip 11, which is held in the positions shown in Figs. 2 and 5 by the spring action of the cap 3 in co-operation with the flat side 8 of a shaft 7 on which the cap 3 is mounted ; a ball 26 may be provided to engage a spring 24 in a box employed for sharpening the razor blade. A modified form of razor is shown in Fig. 6, and has blade-holding arms 36, 37 and a rearwardly extending part 39 to engage either of two detents 40, 41. In this form the blade and blade holder may be made as a unitary structure, or the blade may be slipped between the holding arms from the side.
