Abstract

259,798. Clayton, G. P., and Clayton, G. Dec. 15, 1925. Razors.-A, holder for use in stropping or honing blades of safety razors is made in one piece from a blank bent to a channel form, Fig. 4, approximating in cross-section to that of a hollow-ground razor. The blank is shaped to provide a holder-portion A and a handle H. A rubber &c. insertion C is placed in the portion A for the back, or the covered edge, of the blade to bear against, the blade being held frictionally between the marginal portions A<1> of the holder. A channel clip E may be provided adapted to slide along the device, and serving, when on the holder portion A, to enhance the grip on the blade.
