Abstract

273,051. Burton, W. A.. April 28, 1926. Razors.-A holder for stropping and honing double-edge wafer blades of safety razors which can be used with the ordinary razor handle comprises two spring leaves 10, 11 secured together at one end and provided at the other with half-nipples 13, 14 of tapered form and externally threaded so that they may be placed together and screwed into the ordinary razor handle 18 so as to grip the blade 16 between the leaves 10, 11. A clip 21 is provided to cover the blade edge which is not being stropped &c. and to ensure the other edge being stropped at the correct angle, the clip being formed at its edges to grip central ribs 12 on the holder.
