Abstract
418,657. Sharpening razors. TRITSCH, J., 25, Mittelgasse, Vienna. Jan. 27, 1933, No. 2655. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 29, 1933]. [Class 60.] A blade-holder, for use in razorsharpening apparatus, comprises a bar, slidable on the holder and having thereon studs to engage the holes in the blade, the studs having slots or notches whereby the blade is secured upon displacement of the bar. The bar c, Fig. 2, has its edges Ranged over to fit slidably on the holder a, and has pressed out studs d, bent to the shape shown, to pass through the holes in the blade f, movement of the bar c along the holder a then locking the blade in position. In a modification, Fig. 5, the bar has heads d<1> pressed out to form transverse bridge-pieces which pass through the holes in the blade and through holes i in a pivoted cover bar g. Tongues k on the bar g lie in the slots in the bridge-pieces when the bar is slid along the blade-holder, and hold the blade in position.
