Abstract

181,202. Sanders, G. April 27. 1921. Razors, safety. - A holder for stropping safetyrazor blades comprises two similar strips a, b hinged together at c along their edges at the end remote from the handle portion which is formed by the swelled-out or spoon - shaped ends f of the strips. The two strips are locked together to clamp a blade between them by a catch or turn-buckle m pivoted in the strip a and passing through a slot n in the strip b. A blade d of the " Gillette " type is positioned between the strips by the embossed flanges of holes stamped in the strip a engaging the perforations in the blade and recesses k stamped in the strip b.
