Razors, safety.-A spring plate or gauge 3, which is inserted between the razor blade 1 and the guard plate 4 to obtain a close shave, has, in addition to the usual positioning holes, perforations 6 which prevent the plate 4 from adhering to the guard or blade. The plate 4 may be slightly longer than the other parts of the razor to facilitate removal and may be slightly curved in crosssection.
