372,925. Packing photographic plates. 1. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES., Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. April 27, 1931, No. 12384. Convention date, April 26, 1930. Addition to 333,864, [Class 98 (ii), Photographic processes &c.]. [Class 98 (ii).] The plate packing claimed in the parent Specification is modified by enclosing a pair of plates, with their emulsion sides facing each other in (1) an opaque paper strip 1 having terminal and medial folds 2, 3 for separating the plates at opposite ends, and a flap 1a which wraps round the edges of the plates which are separated by the fold 2, and (2) a second opaque paper strip 6, preferably red, which wraps round the pair of plates transversely to the first strip to cover the edges left bare by that strip. These edges then receive the known sheet-metal channel strips 7, the free ends of the strip 6 are torn off, and the assembly is finally inserted in an envelope 8.
