Abstract

549,474. Envelopes &c. McKINNEY, B. H. Aug. 29, 1941, No. 11043. [Class 146 (ii)] A combined letter-sheet and envelope is made from a rectangular blank having a section cut out from one corner, so as to form a closing flap or panel A, Fig. 1, which is perforated along the line 9 and has a gummed edge 12. The sheet is folded along the line 7 and then transversely along the lines 8, 9, after which the flap A is sealed. The folded sections may be secured together by a separate gummed strip F, Fig. 4, before the flap A is folded down. The sheets may be formed into pads after partial folding, as shown in Fig. 5. The blank may have an additional part joined, for example, along the edge 15.
