Abstract

534,588. Stationery. SMITH, T. W. P. March 19, 1940, No. 5135. [Class 146 (ii)] A combined letter sheet and envelope comprises a rectangular sheet 1 with a flap 2 extending from one corner to a point a little distant from the adjacent corner, the edge 9 of the projecting part of the sheet being inclined downwardly from the flap. The flap is either gummed or its corners insertible into slits 5. The sides of the flap are inclined and the fold lines 3, 6 .. 8 may be marked. The flap, if gummed, may be perforated adjacent the gummed stripe or the sheet perforated near the the flap to facilitate opening. When typing the flap is turned down so that the address on the flap and the letter are typed at the same time.
