Abstract

488,677. Dental X-ray film package. FRANKEL, J. W. July 28, 1937, No. 20934. Convention date, Aug. 14, 1936. [Class 98 (i)] The package is flexible and contains two or more superimposed sensitive films 4, 8, with flexible ray-impermeable material 6 such as lead between two of the films, so that independent exposures from each side are possible. The films may be protected by sheets of black paper 3, 5, 7, 9, and the assembly is enclosed in a light-proof wrapper 2, 21 closed at 14 as by pasting or crimping. In modifications, (1) there are two films on each side of sheet 6, and (2) a single long film is used, bent at its middle round the end of sheet 6. Distinctive markings are placed on the two sides of the wrapper and on the corresponding films to identify the exposures.
