Abstract

483,314. Film packs for radiography. I. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES. Oct. 15, 1936, No. 28028. Convention date, Nov. 1, 1935. [Class 98 (i)] An X-ray film pack comprises a sheet of metal foil, e.g. aluminium, and a sheet of paper laid over the exposure side of the pack and folded over the edges and fastened on the opposite side. Two films f are covered with black paper sheets g. A metal sheet e is laid on one side, and sheets of aluminium foil a and paper b are laid on the other side, the latter being folded over the edges as at c, and the edges joined by adhesive paper d. The sheets may be coloured on the inside, e.g. dark red or mat black, in order to absorb actinic rays.
