[Class 140] [See also Group XVII] A composite wrapper for confectionery comprises a sheet of metal foil having fixed to one surface, by wax &c. a narrow strip of a transparent or translucent flexible film 2 of less area than the foil so that the wrapper has the appearance of contrasting areas of foil, seen directly, and foil seen through the film. An under wrapping of waxed paper 3 may be secured to the foil by adhesive.
