372,486. Sewing-machines. FEBBRARO, L., 12, Birch Grove, Acton Hill, and SMITH, J. T., 28, Albemarle Street, Piccadilly, both in London. March 19, 1931, No. 8484. [Class 112.] Upper and lower shafts connecting.-Medially pivoted and slotted levers for transmitting rotary motion, for example, in sewing-machines are provided with a channel-shaped rocking bearing b at the pivot and with a sliding connecting piece k in the crank disc j of a cam shaft. The bearing b is held between the head dl of the pivot pin and a flange on the pin. The slider k moves in a slot j<2> in the disc, a part j<3> of which is cut away to admit the pin j<1>. With the parts in the position shown the cam shaft and disc may be removed by lifting.
