414,486. Hydraulic operating-mechanism. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, and COLLINGHAM, R. H., 81, Hillmorton Road, Rugby. May 24, 1933, No. 15019. Addition to 395,298. [Class 69 (ii).] The apparatus of the parent Specification is modified so that the impeller may drive the vane in both directions. A valve 9 mounted in the fixed abutment 8 is operated from a link 14 connecting swinging levers 15, 16, provided with pins 18, 19, one of which is acted on by a spring 17 ; a lever 7 carried by the spindle of the vane 4 acts on the pins to produce valve reversals. In order to vary the extent of movement of the vane, the link may be provided with other pins adjustably mounted in slots, or screwed into holes.
