[Class 20 (iii)] Window-raising mechanism of the type comprising a radial arm in the form of a parallelmotion link provided at one end with an operating segmental gear and at the other with an abutment-plate for supporting the window, has an adjustable connection between the abutment-plate and the end or ends of the radial arm. The radial arm comprises two links b, c, one of which is operated by a quadrant e, this link being pivoted at its other end to an abutment-plate of either T- or knee-formation. The end of the other link b has an adjustable pin-and-slot connection q, p with the end d of the abutment-plate so that the abutment-plate may be adjusted to the lower edge of the window j. The link c may also have a pin-andslot connection with the abutment-plate.
