370,607. Bedsteads. HANNAM, W. H., 15, Thompson Street, Mosman, New South Wales, Australia. March 13, 1931, No. 7770. Convention date, March 13, 1930. [Class 52 (ii).] A hospital bed comprises a main frame 1 .. 4, and a separable mattress frame 7 adapted to pass sideways into or from a position beneath a patient supported by straps 16. In use, the mattress frame is supported by short hangers 13 ; if only those at the head are used, the mattress is supported in an inclined position on its fore feet 10. To facilitate passing the straps 16 under the patient's body, there is provided a wire drag with, at each end, a hook adapted to engage in apertures in the end of the straps 16.
