716,851. Cots. PARKER ELLISON, Ltd., J. Nov. 17, 1953 [Nov. 18, 1952], No. 29073/52. Class 52(2) A child's cot comprises a canvas &c body A through a hem a at each side passes an inverted U-shaped tubular frame B the down-turned ends b of which form the upper parts of the legs. These upper parts b each have a lower part c telescopically arranged therewith and the extent of the operative length of the parts c is determined by a cross-member c<SP>1</SP> at each end passing through selected registering holes b<SP>1</SP> in the upper and lower parts b, c of the legs, the cross-members having heads c<SP>3</SP> and fly nuts c<SP>2</SP>. The lower parts c may at each end be provided with a footing d. When the cot is carried in a motor vehicle the legs at one end are retracted so that that end rests on a seat while the legs at the other end rest on the floor. A hook may be provided for anchoring the cot to the back rest of the seat.
