919,629. Convertible vehicles. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. March 2, 1961 [March 3, 1960 (2)], No. 7715/61. Class 108(1). A frame for securing to a vehicle roof to form a tent comprises transverse members 1, 1<SP>1</SP> secured to the roof 4 by leg struts 3, 3<SP>1</SP>, and to longitudinal members 2, 2<SP>1</SP> so that the frame extends outwardly of the vehicle. Fabric end parts 10 may be secured to the members 1 and a roof sheet 13 may extend to ground lever or be supported on poles 14 to form a verandah. Inner cubicles 15 may be suspended from the frame for washing facilities, in conjunction with a hinge-down flap 17 on the vehicle.
