[Class 40 (v).] In a radio receiver connected d to continuous-current mains the resistance 1 for reducing the voltage, which resistance reaches a high temperature in operation, is enclosed in a perforated casing 4, the top plate 5 and the sides of which cover the openings provided in the receiver for the resistance. The resistance 1 is held in position by stirrups 2, 3 soldered to the 'casing at 6, 7, 8. The casing is fixed by supports 11, 12.
