Vacuum apparatus, arrangements of; transformers; converting pulsating currents into steady continuous currents. - A supply unit for wireless receivers comprises a single transformer for supplying alternating- current to the receiver filaments and for supplying, through smoothing condensers and resistances, gridbias voltages for the receiver - grids. The transformer 5 is mounted on a bent frame-plate 1, 2, 3 and is surmounted by a holder 9 for a rectifying-valve, and a container 11 for smoothing-condensers. The smoothing-resistances 12 - - 14 are attached to an insulating plate 17, which also supports an output potentiometer 15, 16. The apparatus is enclosed in an outer case, through which project the valve-holder 9 and the terminals 8.
