Synchronous movements. - A transmitting apparatus radiates energy modulated at the operating frequency and in the receiving apparatus, Fig. 2, current at the modulating frequency is delivered from a vapour electric device 9 to energize a synchonous machine 18. The received modulating frequency is impressed on grids 10 of the vapour electric device by a transformer 11 connected between the grids and cathode 13.
