[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XL (a)] A magnetron comprises two interdigitated anode members 2, 3, Fig. 1, mounted on annuli 14, 13 sealed through the glass envelope of the device, and the conductors 15, 16 of a concentric transmission line fit detachably over the annuli 14, 13. One leg of the magnetic yoke is hinged at 21 to permit easy replacement of the dis. charge tube.
