Abstract
739,716. Holders for thermionic valves. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Oct. 2, 1953 [Aug. 5, 1952], No. 19728/52. Class 38 (1). [Also in Group XL (b)] A klystron (not shown) is held in a base 12 by means of split rings 24 (one only shown) which engage contact rings on the klystron. When in an unstressed state the rings are of greater diameter than the operture in the base 12. The contact rings of the klystron tend to flatten the rings 24 which consequently exert a tight grip on the klystron.
