Abstract
287,171. Lorenz Akt.-Ges., C. March 18, 1927, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators; thermionic modulating systems. - A thermionic-valve wireless transmitter has a direct-current high-voltage source 6, 7 of anode current earthed at a point between the positive and negative poles. The high-frequency circuit is earthed at the cathode through a condenser 8, the source of filament current is protected against direct-current voltage by feeding the filament with alternating current through a transformer 11 having an earthed shield between the windings, and the modulating-device is protected by blocking-condensers 12, 13. The source of high tension may consist of two directcurrent machines in series with the common connection earthed as shown, or a single machine with its central point earthed, or a choke with its central point earthed may be connected across the machine.
