Abstract
829,161. X-ray apparatus. SIEMENSREINIGER-WERKE A. G. Jan. 31, 1958 [Feb. 9, 1957], No. 3242/58. Class 98(1) In apparatus in which the X-ray tube and high voltage generating equipment are arranged in a common housing, tubular metal rectifiers are connected to form a bridge type circuit and their tubular containers are mechanically connected to form a quadrilateral frame the opposite corners of which are mechanically connected to the supporting means of the X-ray tube. As shown, a bracket 5 fixed on the core 2 of a high tension transformer carries the cathode connection to the X-ray tube 6 and is mechanically and electrically connected to rectifiers 10 and 11. The quadrilateral frame 10, 11, 12 and 13 is rigidly connected with the transformer at three corners and the fourth carries anode socket 14 which supports the anode end of the tube 6. In addition to secondaries 3, 4 and bracket 5, the core 2 also carries a heating transformer (Figs. 1, 3, not shown).
