[Class 42 (ii).] A segmental impression roller for use in a rotary-printing machine comprises a D-shaped member 35 fixed to a shaft 11, and a complementary part 41 provided with a dovetail groove 43 engaging a channel-plate 38 fixed to the flat side of the member 35 by screws 39 ; springs 40 coiled around the screws press the plate 38 towards the member 35 and clamp the part 41 in position. Endwise movement of the part 41 is prevented by washers 44, 46 fixed in position by screws 45, 47.
