368,609. Printing surfaces. MASCHINENFABRIK JOHANNISBERG GES., Geisenheim-on-Rhine, Germany. May 26, 1931, No. 15413. Convention date, Aug. 16, 1930. [Class 100 (ii).] An intaglio printing-plate e is mounted on a printing- cylinder g by having its ends secured to bars c, d mounted in a dovetail slot h in the cylinder and pressed towards each other by a longitudinally movable wedge F. The plate is preferably connected to the bars c, d by means of flanges i and these flanges may be secured to the bars c, d by screws, the heads of which project into recesses in the opposite bar to act as dowel pins to prevent lateral movement of the plate. Separate dowel pins may be used.
