367,867. Optical-projection apparatus. WYLD, F. LEHNHOFF-, 8, Avenue Eugenie, St-Cloud, Seine-et-Oise, France. Aug. 27, 1930, No. 25609. Convention date, May 3, 1930. [Class 97 (i).] In an optical-projection system stated to produce colour and stereoscopic effects the transparency is illuminated by polarized light and a second polarizer such as a Nicol prism is positioned between the transparency and the projection lens. The optical system comprises a lamp 1, a hemispherical condenser 2, a diaphragm 3, a Nicol prism 4, a lens 5, the transparency 6, a second Nicol prism 7 and a projection lens 8. The lamp may have a number of parallel filaments. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a lens stated to be changed into a dispersing lens by the addition of one or more opaque bands near the periphery, lenses in which the distance between the components is changed by micrometer screws, and a condenser provided with a network or slots. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
