Abstract

366,942. Alternating-current motors. HEASMAN, H. J., 5A, Ferndale Road, Leytonstone, London. Nov. 4, 1930, No. 30483/31. Divided on 366,566. [Class 35.] A stator for a synchronous motor having a permanent magnet rotor, has imbricated polepieces on its periphery, the winding being located in the annular space behind the two sets of polepieces. In the form shown, the stator e of a gramophone motor has alternately arranged polepieces e<4>, e<5> around its periphery, and the winding f is arranged immediately behind them. The turntable a carries permanent magnets and forms the rotor of the motor. Specifications 366,566 and 366,943 are referred to.
