[Class 61 (iii).] In a wrench having one jaw 6 and handle 5 integral with the body and the other jaw 11 provided with a toothed shank 12 slidably received in the body a thumb-piece 15 projects laterally from the shank 12 and the locking member 16 which is pivoted on a pin 17 and provided with inclined teeth 21 coacting with inclined teeth 14 on the shank 12 is provided with a finger ledge 18, a spring 19 holding the teeth in locking engagement.
