Abstract

366,094. Valve generating circuits. DAVID, P. B. F., 56, Rue de Vaugirard, Paris. Oct. 29, 1930, No. 32537. Convention date, Nov. 23, 1929. [Class 40 (v).] To obtain oscillations of constant frequency, a twogrid valve is employed and both grid circuits are coupled to the plate circuit, the grid circuits including either biasing batteries, or leak resistances shunted by capacity. As shown in Fig. 2, the tuned plate circuit 3 is coupled to a coil 6 which has separate adjustable tappings connected to the grids 4, 5 through grid leaks and capacities 10, 11. In one modification. Fig. 1 (not shown), biasing batteries replace the elements 10, 11 whilst in another modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the two grids are directly connected to each other and only a single resistance-capacity element is used. Either grid coil may be tuned instead of the plate ; and an additional space-charge grid may be used.
