363,820. Wrenches. BRUNGARDT, A. O., Scituate, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Dec. 15, 1930, No. 37792. Convention date, June 14, 1930. [Class 61 (iii).] A wrench comprises a fixed jaw element 11, integral with a housing 13 through which the threaded shank 28 of the movable jaw element 25 passes, the shanks being held apart in a substantially parallel position by a spring 35, Fig. 3. The movable jaw shank may move to and from the fixed jaw, and may rock through an angle limited by the contact of the adjusting nut 30 with the inclined walls 16, 16a of the opening 15. The method of using the wrench with pipes of different sizes is described, and a modified form of spring is illustrated.
