Sliding-jaw wrenches; wrench handles and shanks.-Relates to wrenches of the kind in which the divided legs of a movable jaw member B are guided on either side of the central web of the other jaw member A, and are reduced and threaded at the ends to engage the adjusting-nut C, and consists in the combination therewith of a bridge-piece D<1>, Fig. 6, fitted into elongations D, Fig. 5, of the nut aperture in the central web of the member A.
