Abstract

Vices.-In a vice of the kind having a square- or polygonal jaw rotatably mounted on the body, the jaw is fixed in its various positions by means of a spring-controlled pin engaging recesses in the rotating jaw. The square jaw f is mounted on the conical part of the screw e screwed at an angle into the vice body b, and is fixed by means of the spring pin i which snaps into recesses k in the jaw. Each side of the latter has removable gripping faces h of different shape, and the screw e is provided with a handle g.
