Abstract
362,070. Wheel hubs. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., 32, Osnaburgh Street, London, GOODYEAR, C. E. and WRIGHT, J., of Dunlop Rubber Co., Foleshill, Coventry. Oct. 2, 1930, No. 29467. [Class 144 (i).] A detachable cap 3 for closing the end of a large diameter hub-shell 1 is. secured by a central bolt 6 threaded into a. nut 10 on a bracket or spider 11 adapted to be engaged under the flange 2 of the hub. The parts 3, 11 are prevented from relative rotation by means of a bracket J3 on the cap engaging an arm of the part 11, or by a pin- and-slot connection. Separation of the bolt from the cap is prevented by means of one or more washers 9 on the bolt, and the latter may be headed at its inner end to prevent separation from the part 11.
