Abstract

Removing wheels from shafts. - A device for removing a wheel hub &c. consists of a drawn metal body 5 with a base 7 adapted to be secured to an annular plate 8 provided with spaced holes corresponding with the bolts securing the wheel to the hub, the other end of the body 5 being fitted with a replaceable nut 4 carrying an operating screw 1. The plate 8 is interchangaable for different hubs and may be rigidly secured to the body by bolts passing through the base 7, or by a nut screwing on the body or the plate may screw over the body, and the nut 4 may be screwed into the perforation in the body or fixed thereto by copper rivets.
