Hubs. - Means for securing wheels on axles consist of a sleeve H which has an integral or separate flange J bearing on the end of the wheel hub A and fits a square, hexagonal, or equivalent reduced extension D of the axle C, a nut G which screws on the reduced end of the axle and enters a counter-sunk bore in the sleeve, .and one or more set-screws M passing through the sleeve into an annular groove L in the nut to secure it against accidental detachment.
