Axle structures. - For fitting tractor wheels on to a touring vehicle, bearing-plates 10 are fitted to the ends of the axle casing 9 and are provided with cylindrical parts 13. between which and the hubs 18 of the tractor wheels 14 roller thrust bearings 22 are carried. The wheel hub is provided with an extension 16 for an expanding brake and with a lubricating-passage 26. The wheel is secured by a nut 24 and, in the event of the axle breaking, by a split ring 34.
