Ball bearings. - The wheel hubs of perambulators, invalid carriages, and the like have cup- and-cone ball bearings which are easily fitted to vehicles having plain bearings. As shown in the Figure, a cone b engages, by means of a screwed washer a, with a cup c having a boss which carries the inner end of the hub j. The outer end of the hub j is carried by a boss on a cone f which engages with a cup e by means of a screwed washer g. The cup e is screwed on the end of the axle d and is retained in position by a nut I and D- washer h.
