Abstract

412,691. Vehicle wheels. STANHAY, Ltd., and WRIGHT, H. E., Elwick Works, Ashford, Kent. Feb. 21, 1933, No. 5342. [Class 144 (i).] To vary the tracking-width, dished wheels B are mounted on split conical bushes A splined, and reversible, on the axle-arms E. The small end of the bush is threaded to take a nut F by which the wheel is forced on the bush and the latter clamped to the axle. According to the Provisional Specification, a locking-collar secured by a set of bolts may be used in place of the nut F.
