[Class 120 (iil.] In apparatus for imparting two or more twists during each revolution to yarn as it is withdrawn from a stationary bobbin thereon, the yarn, after passing through the rotary hollow spindle 1 from a bobbin carried by a holder maintained stationary by a weight 4, is passed around a " storing-device " comprising a divided ring 7 or a series of guide rollers connected to the disc 5 on the spindle 1 so that any variation in tension during the unwinding is compensated for by the additional wrapping or unwrapping of the yarn therearound due to its lag or advance relative to the disc 5.
