Abstract
In a process of manufacturing steel which does not age magnetically, the absorption of oxygen is prevented during melting, or the steel is deoxidized, or both measures are employed. The steel may contain up to 5 per cent of silicon, aluminium, phosphorus, tungsten, molybdenum, chromium, or nickel, separately or together.
