Abstract
357,003. Spindle apparatus for capspinning frames. VEREINIGTE KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN AKT.-GES., 3, Schinkelplatz, Berlin. Nov. 15, 1930, No. 34403. Convention date, Nov. 18, 1929. [Class 120 (ii).] In cap-spinning frames having an annular member which carries the bobbin and rotates on a stationary spindle, the annular member is mounted on the spindle by roller bearings, the lower end faces of the rollers serving to support the annular member and bobbin; the stationary spindle is resiliently mounted. The spindle f carrying the cap e is held in a sleeve h mounted in the lifter rail g by means of the resilient bush i, e.g. of rubber. The annular bobbin carrier l is mounted on roller bearings k, c; the lower faces of the rollers c rest on the sleeve h and so support the bobbin carrier. The bobbin carrier may terminate at its lower end in a wharle, or the wharle may be replaced by the rotor of an electric motor.
