[Class 81 (ii).] A water-cooled mercury vapour lamp for therapeutic purposes, provided with means for excluding the water from the leads and preventing it from leaking out of the apparatus, consists of a tube 15 sealed in an outer quartz casing 21 and enclosed in a two-part casing 14 through which water is circulated.
