356,047. Mechanical presses. EVEN, H. J., 100bis, Rue Jean Jaures, Noisy-le-Sec, Seine, France. Nov. 28, 1930, No. 35833. Convention date, Dec. 24, 1929. [Class 87 (ii).] In an ironing press the shafts 5 are mounted elastically on the arms of the fork 4, the elastic mounting comprising a rubber sleeve 10 inserted between metal sleeves, 11, 12, the former being mounted on the shaft and the latter in the frame. Bellevile rings 13, 15 are also mounted on freely moving bolts, 14, 16, which connect the press plates 3, 7 to the support 2 and the lever 6 respectively.
