Ironing-machines with pressing action only.- Each pressing element of a garment press is provided with several sections for acting simultaneously upon different portions of the garment. As shown the head 1 comprises three substantially concave members 5, 6, 7 which coact with the padded corresponding members 8, 9, 10 of the buck 2. The buck members are interconnected by levers 14, 15 pivoted at 16 whereby the pressure between the various pressing members is equalized, and the buck members are yieldingly mounted, as on spring-pressed bolts 11.
