Ironing-presses.-The co-acting pressing members of a garment press are formed with downwardly inclined pressing faces 10, 14, Fig. 1, connected by flat central portions 12. An extension 11, Fig. 3, of the flat portion of the lower pressing member 5 is connected therewith by a neck or converging portion to form a clearance into which portions of a shirt near the neckband can enter, as shown in Fig. 2. The flat portion of the upper press member 6 is formed with a corresponding extension 15, Fig. 3. The front edges of the inclined faces 10, 14 are inclined rearwardly.
