Abstract
352,747. Ironing-machines. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Troy Laundry Machinery Co., Inc. ; 11, Park Place, New York, U.S.A.) July 23, 1930, No. 22194. [Class 138 (ii).] In a garment press wherein the head or buck moves longitudinally or transversely during the ironing process, one of the press members such as the buck 24 is loosely mounted on its support 10 by means of bolts 36 which are pivoted to the buck and which pass loosely through apertures in the support. The buck and support are formed with coacting inclined portions 26, 22 separated by a spring-pressed anti-friction roller bearing 30. The bolts are enclosed by coil springs 42 and restoring springs 64 are located between the buck and its support.
