[Class 138 (ii).] Stockings carried on forms 1 moved by an endless chain or similar conveyer past spraying nozzles 4 and through calendering rolls 5, 6 and a drying chamber 7 are passed between one or more pairs of rollers 8, 9, having a facing of or made wholly of soft rubber, after leaving the damping device. When more than one pair of rollers are used the facings may be of different thickness, as shown, or of different hardness.
